Should stem cell researchers be able to use stem cells from aborted babies to cure diseases?

People who oppose stem cell research call themselves pro-life people.  They give people the false image that they are valiant protectors of babies who can’t help themselves.  I don’t consider fetuses people.  They are bundles of cells that are developing into humans, but at the time when they are aborted, they have no conscious thought, they feel no pain, they aren’t self-aware, and aren’t an actual human.  This really isn’t a rebuttal for the prompt, but more for anti-abortion people.  Even if you are against abortion, abortions will still happen.  If these fetuses aren’t used for stem cell research, they’re just wasted.  What’s the point of arguing against stem cell research?  It uses dead fetuses to save living fetuses.  What positive result comes from trying to save lifeless fetuses from being used to save lives?

  1. In almost all situations where a baby is aborted their life would have been hell other wise and their parents are doing what is best. Would rather have a child that is in pain and suffering or a dead fetus that had no feelings what so ever. Your choice. I choose bead fetus its better in the long run.

  2. They should not be aborted to start with! They had a life and it was taken away. What if your parents fought the choice of aborting you when you were just a “fetus” or “not a human”?
